Auchi Polytechnic is a federal government-managed and funded polytechnic situated in Auchi, Edo State. Founded in 1963, it is one of the first four polytechnics established in the country.

Auchi Polytechnic was initially established as a technical college, and the institution offered Ordinary Diploma level courses. These courses were limited to business and engineering.

The polytechnic was founded with the aim of training skilled manpower in several disciplines such as environmental studies, engineering, art and design, science, and business studies up to the Higher National Diploma (HND) level. The Federal Government took over Auchi Polytechnic from Edo State Government in 1994.
