A Guide to Studying at Heritage Polytechnic

Heritage Polytechnic, Eket, Akwa Ibom State is a polytechnic that started in 1994 as a Continuing Education Centre. In 2003, it became a college.

The privately owned institution has been accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and approved and licensed by the Federal Government of Nigeria. It offers National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes in several ranges of courses.

 Heritage Polytechnic School Fees

Heritage Polytechnic school fees for National Diploma programmes is N35, 200. Higher National Diploma programmes go for N40,200.

Heritage Polytechnic 2019/2020

Candidates who applied for admission into National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes for the 2019/2020 academic sessions were required to score a minimum of 120 in 2019 UTME.

For the admission screening, candidates were required to submit the following documents”

  • Admission letter and certificate of Local Government of Origin.
  • Birth Certificate.
  • Original copies of educational qualifications; and a host of others.

 Heritage Polytechnic Cut Off Mark

The Post UTME cut off mark is 120. This means that for candidates to be qualified for the Post UTME screening exercise and be considered for admission, they must score a minimum of 120 in UTME.

Heritage Polytechnic Screening Form

The screening form costs two thousand naira (N2,000). Payment can be made online on the polytechnic’s portal.

Heritage Polytechnic Admission Requirements

To be qualified for admission, National Diploma applicants are required to possess a minimum of 5 credit passes in relevant subjects (including English Language and Mathematics) at O’ Level.

Higher National Diploma (HND) applicants should have obtained their National Diploma degree from an accredited institution.
