JAMB has decided to extend the ability to handle one of its critical operations, which was previously only available at JAMB offices across the country to all accredited Computer-Based Test centers, in response to a request from Computer-Based Test center owners to be allowed to perform certain specialized operations and to further broaden access to the Board’s services, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
Therefore, starting on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, applicants will be able to utilize this specific service at any CBT center in their area, regardless of where they live in the country.
The registration of applicants who seek to access application forms for Part-Time, Sandwich, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), and Distance Learning programs is one of the services that will be liberalized.
As a proactive organization, the Board chooses to decongest the massive crowds that have gathered at its numerous locations.
Because of this, applicants are no longer need to visit the Board’s headquarters in order to access this specific service, since it is available at all authorized CBT centers around the country.
Accredited CBT centers are admonished by this statement not to charge more than the regulated N700 service charge for registration into the aforementioned programs, as stated in the previous release.
Due to the fact that these groups of candidates are not covered by the newly-introduced cashless policy, they are required to pay N700 at the registration point using their ATM cards.
Candidates for the UTME/DE, on the other hand, should be aware that the service price for the application papers is already included in their e-PIN costs, as stipulated by the National Assembly.
