Notice to students with academic challenges at the College of Education in Akamkpa
The Academic Board of the College, in accordance with the NCCE Curriculum Implementation Framework (2020, page 84), hereby invites students from the 2009 to 2016 batch years who have outstanding academic challenges to report to their respective departments for documentation and subsequent academic interventions to report to their respective departments. Take a look at the proposed schedule below:
- Documentation and payment of prescribed fees will take place between February and April of 2022.
- Students who have been affected will return to campus on May 16, 2022.
- Review tutorials and lectures – May 17, 2022
- The examination will take place between June 1 and June 30, 2022.
- Clearance and certification are scheduled for August 2022.
PROCEDURE FOR DOCUMENTATION:
1. Prospective applicants are required to pay a minimum of N30,000 cash (first payment) (balance N15,000) or the full amount of N45,000 to CRUTECH Micro-finance Bank Akamkpa. Proceed to Room 4 (Final Accounts) of the Bursary Department to acquire an Official Receipt for your purchase.
2 Present the official receipt to the Head of Department for further documentation.
3. Confirm that all failed courses, phone numbers, and e-mail addresses have been recorded properly.
4. On May 16, 2022, candidates are required to go to campus for two weeks of lectures in General Education, General courses, and Subject Specialization areas.
5. Make yourselves available for inspection between June 1 and June 30, 2022.
6. Make the remaining fees (N15,000) payment (as the case may be).
7. Obtain a certificate stating that you are not in debt to the College.
8. Make an appointment with the Academic and Exams/Records Unit to get a Statement of Result.
