Enugu State Polytechnic, formerly known as Enugu State College of Agriculture and Agro-Entrepreneurship, is a state-owned institution of higher learning. The Enugu State Government Edict No. 6 of May 2009 founded the polytechnic.

Enugu State Polytechnic is a tertiary institution that provides courses of instruction, training, and research in various colleges, including Engineering Technology, Agricultural Technology, Applied Science Technology, Business Management Technology, and other fields of study. The institution may and can confer diplomas and certificates in these fields of study on students who meet the requirements.

Enugu State Polytechnic, as a result of Nigeria’s growth vision and the realities of the moment, is designed to provide academic and technical courses in the fields of engineering, applied science, business administration, and agriculture to Polytechnic students and others under the following departments: Home Economics Department, Agricultural Technology Department, Veterinary Science Department, General and Entrepreneurship Studies Department, Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department, Animal Health and Production Technology Department, Horticultural Technology Department, and a host of others.

Advanced and efficient building structures that can be found at the institution include ICT centre, administrative complex, laboratories, fish ponds, staff offices, and so much more.

A selection of the institution’s courses has been accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).

Enugu State Polytechnic was founded at Iwollo with the aim of releasing high-trained agricultural manpower to the society to address the challenges of food insecurity, not only in Enugu State but the whole of Nigeria.

According to a credible source in the institution, the school fees for ND (New Students) for the 2020/2021 session are between 39,000 and 45,000 Naira per session (first and second semester). This excludes the acceptance fee.

Candidates who chose Enugu State Polytechnic Iwollo in the recently concluded JAMB Exam can now purchase and complete their forms by visiting the official website: www.espoly.edu.ng. By clicking on the school’s portal (https://portal.espoly.edu.ng/), candidates can apply for various programmes in the institution.

Registration Guidelines for the Post UTME

Candidates seeking admission into the polytechnic must have chosen Enugu State Polytechnic as their first institution choice. Candidates who did not select ESPOLY can do so by seeking for a change of institution with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

Essentials for Completing the Post UTME Online Application

A non-refundable screening fee of two thousand naira.
A passport sized photograph. This photograph will be scanned and uploaded to the form.
Valid phone number and email address.
State of Origin/Local Government certificate
O’ Level results(s)

Select ‘Online Portal.’
Select ‘Apply.’
Complete the application form.
To generate your screening form payment invoice, follow the steps outlined.
Pay the invoice in the bank or through a payment gateway.
– Return to the Admission screening form page after payment has been made (either online or in the bank).
Go to the application page to finish your application online.
Complete the form properly, then click the next button to enter your personal information. Upload your passport, o’ level scores, course selection, and JAMB score.
Finally, double-check all of your entries to ensure that they are correct.
Afterwards, click ‘Submit.’

Enugu State Polytechnic Ezimo

Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Enugu State Governor, has approved Community Secondary School, Ezimo-Uno, as the temporary take-off point for the Enugu State Polytechnic, Iwollo’s Udenu campus, pending the completion of its permanent location. When the institution reopens after the Covid-19 break, the lectures (for specified faculties) will commence.

Enugu State Polytechnic Cut Off Mark

Enugu State Polytechnic cut off mark is 120. For candidates to be qualified for the Post UTME and considered for admission, they must score a minimum of 120 in the 2020 UTME.
