Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic (HAFEDPOLY) is a government-funded and managed institution located in Kazaure, Jigawa State.

The institution was founded as Jigawa State Polytechnic in December 1991. It had four colleges in several locations: the College of Business and Management Studies at Dutse, the College of Engineering, Science and Technology at Kazaure, the College of Agriculture at Hadejia, and the College of Islamic and Legal Studies at Ringim. The Central Administration is situated at Kazaure, Jigawa State.

The institution aims to “provide technical and practical oriented training to meet the manpower requirements for the Industrial and Economic development of Nigeria.”

In 1998, the institution was renamed Hussaini Adamu Polytechnic. It was in honour of Alhaji Hussaini Adamu, the former emir of Kazaure.

In January 2007, Hussaini Adamu Polytechnic became a federal polytechnic managed and run by Nigeria’s Federal Government. In 2009, HAFEDPOLY held its first convocation ceremony. It issued certificates and National Diplomas to about 6,024 students. These students completed their academic programmes between 1992 and 2008.

Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic Post UTME

To qualify for Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic Post UTME Screening, candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • Candidates should have obtained a minimum of five credit passes in relevant subjects (including English Language and Mathematics) at O’ Level. It should be obtained at not more than two sittings.
  • Candidates should have taken the 2020 UTME and scored at least 120.
  • Candidates are required to pay a Post UTME CBT screening fee of two thousand naira.
  • Candidates should have sat and passed the PCE JAMB examination. Before progressing to the National Diploma (ND) programmes, they should also be admitted by JAMB.
  • Candidates should apply online by visiting Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic’s official portal. After making payment, they are required to complete the online application form.

Application Procedure:

  • Visit Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic’s portal: https://www.hafedpoly.edu.ng/
  • To complete the application form, click on Admission.
  • Candidates are required to make payment for the Post UTME form.
  • Payments can be made using an ATM card.
  • Candidates are required to upload scanned copies of their results/certificates and other documents required for the screening.

The management of the school will communicate with candidates using the email addresses and phone numbers provided. It makes it essential for candidates to submit valid and active email addresses and phone numbers. The entry of false data can also lead to automatic disqualification. The certificates submitted will be verified by the school authorities.

Candidates must also participate in the Post UTME screening exercise.

Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic Kazaure cut-off mark is 120. For candidates to be qualified for the Post UTME form and be considered for admission, they must score a minimum of 120 in the 2020 UTME.
