The Federal University of Technology, Minna was established in February 1983. Owned by the federal government, the reputable institution is a specialized university of technology that equips students in areas of engineering, science, and technology.

History of FUTMINNA
The Federal University of Technology, Minna was founded in February 1983 and its first Vice-Chancellor was Professor J.O. Ndagi. He served between the years 1983 to 1990.
FUTMINNA claimed the facilities of the former Government Teachers’ College Bosso. It was taken to be used on a permanent basis. The site currently serves the purpose of a campus; known as Bosso Campus.
The Federal University of Technology, Minna is listed in the Guide to Higher Education in Africa, Association of African Universities and the International Association of Universities, 1999.
FUTMINNA Post UTME 2020
The Post UTME screening form for the 2020/2021 academic session has been released for all candidates seeking admission into the institution.
The Post UTME screening exercise commenced on 21, September 2020 and ended on 18, November 2020.
Requirements for FUTMINNA Post UTME Screening
- Candidates must have chosen the Federal University of Technology, Minna as their first choice.
- Candidates must meet the cut-off mark of 170. However, some courses require that UTME candidates score higher cut-off marks that have been indicated on FUTMINNA’s website.
- Candidates must possess at least five credits in O’ Level (which includes English Language and Mathematics), in not more than two sittings.

Bosso Campus was formerly the Government Teachers’ College Bosso. After FUTMINNA took over its facilities, it was used on a permanent basis. It is currently the Bosso Campus in the Federal University of Technology, Minna.
