Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo (RUGIPO) is a state-owned institution of higher learning founded in 1979 and situated in Owo, Ondo State. The polytechnic was formerly called The Polytechnic, Owo. In 2010, the polytechnic was renamed Ondo State Polytechnic. Ondo State Polytechnic was renamed Rufus Giwa Polytechnic; after a renowned businessman who hailed from Ondo State.
Rufus Giwa Polytechnic has been accredited by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and approved as a polytechnic by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).

To apply for the Rufus Giwa HND form, candidates are required to visit the official portal: sf.ruaipo.edu.ng. Make a payment of ten thousand five hundred naira (N10,500) through any commercial bank of your choice or using an ATM card. Afterwards, register online.
Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Post UTME 2020/2021
Candidates are invited to apply for RUGIPO UTME for the 2020/2021 academic session. To apply, candidates must have written the 2020 UTME and scored a minimum of 120.
To register online for the Post UTME screening exercise, candidates should visit the polytechnic’s portal: sf.rugipo.edu.ng. The screening exercise attracts a fee of two thousand naira (N2,000).
