National Universities Commission has approved eight programmes at Confluence University.
Following clearance by the National Universities Commission, Confluence University of Science and Technology in Osara, Kogi State will be able to offer eight more courses in the coming academic year.
The university, which was established in 2020, had previously been accredited to offer eleven programs, which included Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Physics.

The courses that have recently been authorized are as follows: B.Eng. Chemical Engineering, B.Eng. Civil Engineering, B.Eng. Computer Engineering, B.Eng. Electrical and Electronics Engineering, B.Eng. Mechanical Engineering, B. Eng. Mining Engineering, BSc. Geology, and BSc. Applied Geophysics.
The inclusion of the eight courses that were recently authorized by the NUC brings the total number of CUSTECH programs that will be offered in the upcoming academic year to nineteen and nineteen.
The planned Academic Calendar for the 2021/2022 Session is scheduled to begin on Monday, April 11, 2022, with classes beginning on Tuesday, April 12.
New students who are interested in any of the 19 programs offered at the university can now apply to be admitted to the school.
