Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board will introduce a self-service registration portal

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is opening self-registration outlet in Abuja and Lagos in an effort to capitalize on the growing number of computer-savvy candidates.

According to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, the system would, in the long term, lessen the crowds at CBT centers in these locations. The intention of this noble notion is to advance the digital competence of candidates who believe they are capable of completing the registration process on their own, as well as to expand the number of registration access points in accordance with COVID-19 norms.

According to the service provider, Bankfort, the tremendous potential of the seamless registration method is the standard rather than the exception in more-developed countries, and that this is the case in the United States.
