Federal University Lafia (FULAFIA): A Comprehensive Guide

Federal University Lafia, (FULAFIA) is a Nigerian university established by the Federal Government of Nigeria in 2011. Located in Lafia, Nasarawa State, FULAFIA offers a wide range of academic opportunities to students.

The university started operation in 2012 with an initial student population of 234. Currently, the number of students has increased to more than 5,000.

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has accredited new departments created by Federal University, Lafia. They include Mass Communication, Medicine and Surgery, Philosophy, and so on.

 Federal University Lafia Post UTME 2020

The Federal University, Lafia has commenced a screening exercise for admission into the 2020/2021 academic year.

Registration commenced on the 27th of July, 2020, and will close on the 30th of November, 2020. The screening exercise, which is strictly online, requires that applicants pay a sum of N2,000.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must possess five credits in O’ Level in not more than two sittings.
  • Applicants must score 170 and above in JAMB UTME.
  • Applicants must have chosen FULAFIA as their first choice.

Guidelines for Applying

  • Visit https://fmis.fulafia.edu.ng/putme/login.php. Input your UTME Registration Number, choose 2020/2021 Academic Screening. Afterwards, click Log In.
  • To be certain that the information displayed on the payment page is valid, input your email address and phone number. Click on ‘Pay Now’ to pay for the RRR generated.
  • After the payment has been successfully made, you will receive a receipt of payment from REMITA.
  • Complete the application form and click on ‘Submit.’

Federal University Lafia Cut Off Mark

The general cut off mark is 170 and above. This means that to qualify for post UTME screening at Federal University, Lafia, you must score 170 and above in JAMB UTME.

Some courses, however, require that you score 200 and above, such as Medicine and Surgery, Nursing and Radiography, and Human Anatomy and Physiology.
