A Review of Federal College of Education Yola

The Federal College of Education, Yola, is a government-owned institution founded in 1974 as Federal Advanced Teachers College.

In 1989, the Federal Government restructured the institution alongside others. Federal College of Education, Yola is aimed at producing highly-trained and motivated teachers for the education system in the country.

The Yola College of Education’s academic structure is broken down into faculty-organized research units and other relevant units of teaching and research support. This academic organization’s department is the least unit to promote better learning and increase interaction between all other related disciplines in the college.

The institution was designed to provide quality education to students enrolled in the institution and achieve this feat satisfactorily.  Federal College of Education Yola Resumption Date

Federal College of Education, Yola, resumed academic activities on the 18th of January, 2021. The management approved this date following a directive from the Federal Ministry of Education.

The Federal Government announced that schools should resume on this said due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Students are advised to adhere to the guidelines given by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). They should maintain social distancing, wear face masks at all times and wash their hands regularly.
