OOU’s top graduating students receive automatic employment and N2 million from the Ogun state government.

Following their accomplishment, the best graduating students from Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) were each awarded a N1 million cash reward and offered automatic employment by the Ogun State government.

Iloka Ebuka of the Faculty of Pharmacy was named the best graduating student in the 2020/2021 academic session, with a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 4.92, while Fatima Awolumate of the Faculty of Agricultural Economics earned the title of best graduating student in the 2019/2020 academic session, with a CGPA of 4.82.

The state governor, Dapo Abiodun, handed the rewards to the students during the institution’s combined 30th and 31st convocation ceremony on Monday, January 31.
