LASU notice on mandatory use of matriculation numbers by PG students
All admitted Postgraduate students are required to use their matriculation numbers in all official transactions beginning with the 2020/2021 academic session, according to a release issued by the Management of the Lagos State University Postgraduate School on the 31st of January 2022.
This is as a result of the automation of the issuance of matriculation numbers by the Directorate of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), as well as the requirement for the continuous implementation of digitization of the operations of the Postgraduate School, as approved by the University Administration.
Due to the foregoing, all Postgraduate students enrolled to the 2020/2021 academic session will now be able to check their matriculation numbers online using the following methods:
- Visit the university’s official website at https://www.lasu.edu.ng.
- Navigate to the STUDENT TAB
- Select CHECK MATRIC NUMBER from the drop-down menu.
- Input the number of your postgraduate application.
- Select “Submit” from the drop-down menu.
In the next steps, Postgraduate students (accepted in 2020/2021) who have fully paid all of the required fees on the LASU Payment site can complete the Bio-data and online courses registration by following the procedures outlined below:
- Visit the university’s official website at https://www.lasu.edu.ng.
- Navigate to the STUDENT TAB
- Select COURSE REGISTRATION from the drop-down menu.
- Select ‘PG COURSE REG’ from the drop-down menu.
