Information you send us
If you email Educated, we receive your email address and the contents of your message, together with any name or other information you choose to include. We use this information to respond to enquiries, investigate corrections, and manage our correspondence. Please do not send passwords, identity documents, or sensitive application files.
Hosting and technical information
Our website runs on WordPress and is hosted by Hostinger. Serving and protecting the website may involve processing technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, requested pages, and access times. Read Hostinger’s privacy policy for information about its services.
Cookies and site functions
WordPress uses cookies for functions such as administrator login and preferences. Your browser settings let you manage or delete cookies; blocking essential cookies can affect login or other site functions.
Advertising and your choices
As of 22 September 2026, Educated has not enabled Google AdSense advertising. The following explains the advertising use planned if Google ads are introduced.
When Google advertising is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your earlier visits to Educated or other websites. Google’s advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to personalise ads using those visits.
You can manage personalised Google advertising through Google My Ad Center. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Participating third-party advertising choices are also available through YourAdChoices. These settings do not necessarily remove all advertising.
Before advertising is enabled, we will update this notice to identify the services actually used and provide the consent controls required for the relevant visitors. Advertising consent controls are not currently active on Educated. A browser cookie setting or a link to Google’s ad settings does not replace those controls.
Links to other websites
Our pages may link to universities, scholarship providers, and other external resources. Those websites have their own privacy practices. Check their policies before providing personal information.
Service providers and retention
Hosting and email providers may process information needed to deliver their services. Correspondence should be retained only as needed to handle the enquiry, maintain appropriate records, or meet applicable obligations. Backup and technical-log retention also depends on the service provider’s settings.
Your requests
You can contact us to ask about personal information you have sent to Educated or request a correction or deletion. We may need to verify that a request comes from the person concerned. Some information may need to be retained for applicable obligations or security purposes.
Changes to this notice
This notice should be reviewed when the website introduces new features, advertising, analytics, or other data-processing services. Any applicable advertising disclosures and consent controls must be in place before those features are enabled.
