Maurid Polytechnic is a tertiary education which aims at making students excellent in studies and research. The goal of Maurid Polytechnic is to prepare students for the labour market.
Formerly known as Maurid Institute of Management and Technology, the polytechnic is located in Oron, Akwa Ibom State.
Maurid Polytechnic is one of the polytechnics that is working towards becoming highly-recognized in Nigeria and Africa as a whole. The polytechnic offers National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes in management, science, and technology.
Maurid Polytechnic was initially situated in Nassarawa State as Maurid Institute of Management and Technology. In 2011, a site was established in Akwa Ibom State due to several factors.
