Everything You Need to Know About Edo State Polytechnic
Edo State Polytechnic, Usen, is a state-owned institution founded in 2002 by the then governor of Edo State, Chief (Dr.) Lucky Nosakhare Igbinedion.
Located in the Usen community in Edo State, Edo State Polytechnic was formerly called Edo State Institute of Technology and Management. The institution’s name was changed to Edo State Polytechnic, Usen, in 2019.
Programmes offered in the polytechnic have been accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). In 2017, it was ranked as the second best polytechnic in the country.
Edo State Polytechnic Cut Off Mark
Edo State Polytechnic cut off mark is 120. This means that to be eligible for the Post UTME screening exercise and considered for admission, candidates must score a minimum of 120 in UTME.

Edo State Polytechnic Usen Resumption Date
Following a directive by the Federal Government of Nigeria that schools resume on the 18th of January, Edo State Polytechnic was scheduled to resume on the said date.
However, the governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, announced through his Twitter page, that school resumption should be suspended due to the surge in the rate of COVID-19 cases. No specific date has been announced.
